A dynamic daughter of the carcass king, Future Direction, 4059 recorded impressive individual performance data in the Circle A program with WR 118, YR 116, %IMF 141, and UREA 124. She has continued to be impressive in production at 2 S and is well on her way to making her mark as an elite donor in the Angus breed. She now posts a production record of: BR 2@100, WR 2@116, YR 2@110, %IMF 4@106, and UREA 4@104.
Her first natural calf, a heifer, scanned an 11.5 UREA, a 6.40% IMF to ratio 115, and sold to Sugar Hill Farms in Arkansas last spring. Two other daughters will be features in our sale this coming fall.
4059’s EPD profile continues to get stronger and reflects her elite status in all economically important traits. She ranks in the lightest 20% among all current Angus dams for calving ease but at the same time ranks in the top 3% for both WW and YW. On the carcass side she is in a very select group of Angus dams that rank in the breed’s top 1% for both %IMF and UREA. She also ranks in the top 1% for $B, and Milk, top 2% for $W, top 4% for $F, and top 5% for $G.
4059’s dam was a top-selling female in the 2006 Circle A Female Sale, selling for $28,000 to C&H Angus in Kentucky.
